What this trial studies
This project aims to develop and evaluate a framework for providing early and specialized rehabilitation to individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS) recovering from a relapse. The intervention includes intensive rehabilitation alongside usual care to optimize recovery outcomes. The study will assess the effectiveness of this approach in improving functional scores and overall quality of life for patients. By focusing on early intervention, the study seeks to enhance clinical practices in managing relapsing-remitting sclerosis.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults over 18 years old who have been admitted to a Danish MS Hospital for inpatient rehabilitation and have experienced a confirmed motor relapse within the past 6 months.
Not a fit: Patients who have had their motor relapse for more than 6 months or have substantial cognitive impairments may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly improve recovery outcomes for patients experiencing relapses of multiple sclerosis.
How similar studies have performed: While this approach is innovative, similar studies focusing on early rehabilitation for MS have shown promising results in improving patient outcomes.
Eligibility criteria
