What this trial studies
This study evaluates a digital twin-based clinical research system designed to predict clinical outcomes for patients with chronic diseases. The system aims to simulate various interventions and assess their potential impacts on patient health. By comparing predictions from the digital twin with real-world clinical data, the study seeks to validate the system's reliability in forecasting short-term outcomes. Participants will be recruited from community health service centers and will provide informed consent to take part in the research.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 18 and older receiving care at community health service centers.
Not a fit: Patients with severe mental illness or those unable to complete follow-ups may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this system could enhance personalized treatment strategies for patients with chronic diseases.
How similar studies have performed: While the concept of digital twins in healthcare is emerging, this specific approach has not been widely tested in similar studies.
