What this trial studies

This study evaluates the effectiveness of two types of supervised digital training interventions, focusing on core stability and aerobic exercise, compared to non-supervised daily physical activity for patients suffering from low back pain. Participants will undergo clinical examinations, MRI assessments, and complete Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) at baseline and follow-up visits. The aim is to determine the clinical and imaging-based outcomes of these interventions and to explore whether new MRI techniques can detect changes in spinal tissue over time.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals aged 18-50 with low back pain lasting more than three months who have access to a computer, tablet, or mobile phone.

Not a fit: Patients with ongoing treatments for low back pain, neurological symptoms, or those who have had previous back surgeries may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide patients with effective digital training options to manage and alleviate low back pain.

How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown promise in using digital interventions for pain management, suggesting potential success for this approach.
