What this trial studies

This study aims to evaluate the impact of digital literacy education on health literacy and quality of life among postmenopausal women. It is designed as a randomized controlled experimental study, where participants will receive digital literacy training tailored to menopause over five sessions. Data will be collected through face-to-face interviews, and various statistical methods will be employed to analyze the results. The focus is on enhancing women's ability to access and evaluate health information online, thereby improving their overall well-being during menopause.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are women aged 45 to 65 who are in the postmenopausal period and have a low digital literacy level.

Not a fit: Patients with diagnosed psychiatric disorders or cancer may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this intervention could significantly improve the health literacy and quality of life for postmenopausal women.

How similar studies have performed: While the specific approach of combining digital literacy education with menopause management is novel, similar studies have shown that improving health literacy can positively impact patient outcomes.
