What this trial studies
This project aims to establish a comprehensive patient registry for adults diagnosed with non-CF bronchiectasis and/or non-tuberculous mycobacterial pneumonia (NTM). Participants over the age of 18 will have their clinical data and quality of life assessments collected and entered into the registry. The goal is to enhance understanding of these conditions and improve patient care through better data collection and analysis.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults over 18 years old diagnosed with non-CF bronchiectasis or NTM.
Not a fit: Patients under the age of 18 or those with CF bronchiectasis will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this registry could lead to improved treatment strategies and outcomes for patients with bronchiectasis and NTM.
How similar studies have performed: While this approach is focused on registry development, similar patient registries have shown success in improving understanding and management of chronic respiratory conditions.
