What this trial studies
This study evaluates the feasibility of a computer-based cognitive training program designed to improve learning and memory in individuals diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). The intervention consists of 10 sessions aimed at enhancing cognitive performance, daily life activities, and neuroimaging outcomes. Given the challenges of transportation to clinical settings, this pilot study seeks to determine the effectiveness of delivering cognitive training remotely to address these barriers. Participants will be assessed for eligibility based on specific cognitive impairments and other health criteria.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are individuals diagnosed with multiple sclerosis who exhibit impaired learning and memory abilities.
Not a fit: Patients who have had a recent exacerbation of MS or those with significant neurological or psychiatric conditions may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this program could significantly improve cognitive function and quality of life for individuals with multiple sclerosis.
How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown positive outcomes with similar cognitive training approaches, suggesting potential for success in this pilot study.
