Comparing two methods for treating non-displaced femoral neck fractures
Comparison Between Femoral Neck System and Multiple Cannulated Screws in Non-displaced Femoral Neck Fracture

What this trial studies
This study aims to compare the clinical outcomes of a femoral neck system versus conventional multiple cannulated screws in patients with non-displaced femoral neck fractures. The primary focus is on evaluating reoperation rates, loss of fixation, and changes in mobility following treatment. Participants will be community ambulators aged 18 and older, ensuring a relevant demographic for assessing functional outcomes. The study is conducted at Seoul National University Hospital and its affiliated facilities.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 and older with non-displaced femoral neck fractures who are community ambulators.
Not a fit: Patients with displaced femoral neck fractures or other types of hip fractures will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved treatment options and outcomes for patients with non-displaced femoral neck fractures.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown varying success with similar approaches, but this specific comparison is novel.
