It focuses on managing key components of the syndrome, including obesity, dyslipidemia, hyperglycemia, and hypertension. The interventions include both conventional medications like rosuvastatin and metformin, as well as herbal treatments such as cinnamon and ginger. The study will evaluate the effectiveness of these approaches in improving metabolic health outcomes.

Not a fit: Patients who are pregnant, have severe comorbidities, or are on certain medications may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide patients with alternative treatment options for managing metabolic syndrome.
How similar studies have performed: While there is ongoing interest in the use of herbal medicines for metabolic conditions, the comparative effectiveness of these approaches with traditional medicines remains largely untested.
