Comparing exercise with and without bracing for office workers with kyphosis
Effectiveness of Physical Therapy With &Amp; Without Bracing on Posture, Pain and Functional Outcomes in Office Workers With Kyphosis

What this trial studies
This study aims to compare the effectiveness of physical therapy and spinal bracing in improving posture, pain, and functionality in office workers diagnosed with kyphosis. It will assess the additional benefits of combining physical therapy with bracing to identify sustainable, non-surgical management strategies for this condition. The focus is on addressing the increasing prevalence of kyphosis among office workers due to sedentary lifestyles and poor ergonomic practices.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are office workers aged 30 to 45 who have been diagnosed with postural kyphosis and experience upper back or neck pain.
Not a fit: Patients with a history of spinal surgery, severe scoliosis, or other significant spinal deformities may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide office workers with effective non-surgical options for managing kyphosis, improving their quality of life.
How similar studies have performed: While there is ongoing research into non-surgical management of kyphosis, this specific comparison of exercise and bracing in office workers is relatively novel.
