What this trial studies

This study aims to evaluate the effects of aquatic exercises versus core strengthening on disability, flexibility, and postural stability in male weightlifters aged 20-35 with chronic low back pain. Participants will be randomly assigned to either an aquatic exercise group or a core strengthening group, with outcomes measured using established indices. The study is single-blinded and will analyze data using statistical software to determine the significance of the results.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are male weightlifters aged 20-35 who have experienced chronic low back pain for at least three months.

Not a fit: Patients with severe back pain requiring immediate medical intervention or those with a history of significant respiratory or heart diseases may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide effective rehabilitation strategies for weightlifters suffering from chronic low back pain.

How similar studies have performed: While there is existing research on aquatic therapy and core strengthening, this specific comparison in weightlifters is relatively novel.
