What this trial studies

This registry aims to prospectively gather high-quality data on patients undergoing proton therapy for various oncological conditions. It focuses on understanding the feasibility and clinical outcomes of hypofractionated treatment schedules. The study will implement a three-level data collection approach, including clinical outcomes, radiological analysis, and biological research. By addressing the current lack of robust evidence in proton therapy, this registry seeks to enhance knowledge and improve treatment protocols.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates include patients with any type of oncological disease who are eligible for proton therapy.

Not a fit: Patients under 18 years of age will not benefit from this study as they are excluded from participation.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this registry could lead to improved treatment strategies and outcomes for cancer patients receiving proton therapy.

How similar studies have performed: While there is limited data on proton therapy, similar registries have shown promise in enhancing treatment understanding and outcomes.
