What this trial studies

This observational study focuses on the management of elderly patients with cancer, addressing the complexities arising from comorbidities and functional status. It utilizes a Geriatric Assessment (GA) to evaluate patients' resources and strengths, aiding oncologists in determining the most effective treatment plans. The GA includes a multidimensional evaluation of health status, comorbidities, functional abilities, and psychological and social factors, using validated geriatric scales. The study aims to improve treatment recommendations for older cancer patients by incorporating geriatric expertise.
