What this trial studies

This observational study aims to validate and establish the reliability of the Expanded Rehabilitation Complexity Scale (RCS) for stroke patients in Turkey. The RCS is designed to assess the complexity of rehabilitation needs and interventions, taking into account various factors such as care, nursing, therapy, and medical input. The study will involve 110 patients hospitalized in a palliative unit, utilizing tools like Barthel, FIM, and RCS-E for comprehensive analysis. The goal is to identify patients who may require extended rehabilitation support due to complex needs or acute illnesses during their recovery process.
