What this trial studies

This observational study aims to evaluate the reliability and sensitivity of Turkish versions of three disability questionnaires: the Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire, the Quebec Back Pain Disability Scale, and the Oswestry Disability Index. It seeks to determine the most appropriate minimal clinically significant difference values for these tools in patients diagnosed with chronic nonspecific low back pain. By enhancing the confidence in these assessments, the study hopes to improve their application in both clinical practice and research settings.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are Turkish-speaking adults aged 18 to 65 diagnosed with chronic nonspecific low back pain.

Not a fit: Patients with systemic diseases, cognitive impairments, or specific lumbar conditions such as radiculopathy or recent surgeries may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to more accurate assessments of disability in patients with chronic low back pain, ultimately improving treatment outcomes.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have successfully validated similar disability assessment tools, indicating a promising approach for this research.
