What this trial studies

This study focuses on adapting the Physician Attitudes Toward Cardiac Rehabilitation and Referral Scale-Revised (PACRR-R) for use in Turkey. It aims to evaluate the psychometric properties of the adapted scale to better understand physicians' attitudes towards cardiac rehabilitation (CR) and their referral practices. By addressing the lack of effective measurement tools in Turkey, the study seeks to provide insights into the factors influencing CR implementation. The findings could help improve the promotion of CR among patients by enhancing physicians' understanding and attitudes.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are physicians actively involved in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Not a fit: Physicians in administrative roles who do not provide direct patient care may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved physician engagement in promoting cardiac rehabilitation, ultimately benefiting patient outcomes.

How similar studies have performed: While this approach is novel in Turkey, similar studies in other countries have successfully adapted and validated physician attitude scales.
