What this trial studies
This study tests a culturally-responsive orientation program aimed at improving engagement with mental health services among racial and ethnic minority young adults. Researchers will conduct a 24-month randomized trial involving 80 participants from a community-based mental health clinic in New York. The intervention, called Just Do You, will be enhanced with three new components that incorporate cultural insights and creative arts therapy. The goal is to assess whether these additions improve service utilization and overall engagement in mental health treatment.
