What this trial studies
The Playful Learning in Infancy Program provides parents with educational guidance on engaging playfully with their infants aged 0-1 year. Through routine home visits by public health visitors, parents learn to recognize their infants' cues for play and are introduced to developmentally appropriate activities. The program aims to promote playful interactions, improve parental attitudes towards play, and enhance infant socioemotional development. Additionally, it seeks to evaluate the program's effectiveness for potential future large-scale studies.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this program are parents or legal guardians of infants aged 1-7 months residing in specific Danish municipalities.
Not a fit: Parents of infants who are not within the specified age range or do not reside in the designated areas may not benefit from this program.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this program could significantly enhance parent-child interactions and support healthy infant development.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies focusing on parent-child interactions and playful learning have shown positive outcomes, suggesting this approach may be effective.
