What this trial studies
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a 6-week at-home yoga and meditation program designed to reduce anxiety and improve quality of life in adolescents aged 12-21 diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Participants will engage in yoga sessions twice a week and complete questionnaires assessing anxiety, IBS symptoms, and quality of life before and after the program. The study is a pilot, prospective design approved by an Institutional Review Board, focusing on the psychological and physical impacts of yoga on IBS patients. The goal is to provide evidence for non-pharmacological interventions in managing IBS symptoms and associated anxiety.
