What this trial studies

This study evaluates the effectiveness of a virtual reality (VR) model designed to teach pelvic floor anatomy to students and professionals in physical therapy. By creating an immersive and interactive learning environment, the VR model aims to enhance users' understanding and retention of complex anatomical structures. Participants will engage with the VR tool to explore and manipulate 3D models, which may improve their educational outcomes compared to traditional methods. The study will assess changes in educational level and user experience following the intervention.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates include undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate physical therapy students and professionals who can physically interact with a VR headset.

Not a fit: Patients lacking an anatomy background or those with prior extensive VR experience in anatomy may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could significantly enhance the educational experience and knowledge retention for students and professionals in physical therapy.

How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown that virtual reality can improve educational outcomes in anatomy, suggesting potential success for this approach.
