What this trial studies

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of laser acupuncture applied to specific acupuncture points (BL23, BL26, BL40, and SP6) in alleviating low back pain associated with menstruation. The intervention will involve female participants aged 20-30 years who experience menstrual back pain. The study will assess the pain relief outcomes following the laser acupuncture treatment. Participants will be monitored for any changes in their pain levels throughout the intervention period.

Not a fit: Patients with psychiatric disorders, pelvic floor dysfunction, lumbar disc prolapse, or a history of spine surgery may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters
