What this trial studies

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a transdiagnostic telenovela video intervention designed to reduce anxiety and depressive symptoms among Spanish-speaking Latinxs. The intervention utilizes a pre/post-test design to assess changes in mental health outcomes. Telenovela video interventions are a cost-effective method that addresses the treatment-provider gap and have shown promise in previous research for disseminating mental health information. By targeting the two most common mental health disorders in this population, the study seeks to provide an easily accessible intervention.
