What this trial studies
This clinical trial evaluates the effectiveness of a telemedicine medication reminder app for patients undergoing IVF treatment at Hung Vuong Hospital. It compares medication adherence and patient satisfaction between those using the app and those who are not. The study also assesses the outcomes related to egg quality and quantity, including the rates of missed doses and cycle cancellations. Fertility specialists and researchers collaborate to ensure the app meets patient needs and to analyze the collected data.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are women aged 18 to 39 undergoing their first IVF treatment with a good prognosis.
Not a fit: Patients with a BMI over 30, those using oocyte donation, or those with underlying health conditions may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this app could significantly improve medication adherence and treatment outcomes for infertility patients.
How similar studies have performed: While the use of mobile health applications is gaining traction, this specific approach to medication reminders in infertility treatment is relatively novel.
