What this trial studies
This qualitative research focuses on gathering insights from cancer care providers, patients, and caregivers about their knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs regarding hospital care at home for cancer treatment. Through interviews and focus groups, the study aims to identify potential barriers and enablers to implementing such programs. The research utilizes a structured interview guide based on the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research to ensure comprehensive data collection. The findings will inform future initiatives in oncology hospital care at home.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates include cancer care providers, patients currently undergoing or recently completed cancer treatment, and their caregivers, all associated with MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Not a fit: Patients who are not receiving treatment at MD Anderson or those who do not speak or read English may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance the delivery of cancer care by identifying effective strategies for implementing home hospital care.
