What this trial studies

This observational study aims to explore how physical activity levels and sedentary behavior evolve in patients recovering from chronic low back pain (CLBP) after rehabilitation. It will assess the motivations behind these behaviors and measure both explicit and implicit attitudes towards physical activity. By analyzing these factors, the study seeks to identify barriers and facilitators to adopting a more active lifestyle among CLBP patients. The findings could inform future rehabilitation strategies and interventions.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults over 18 years old who are undergoing rehabilitation for chronic low back pain lasting more than three months.

Not a fit: Patients who are unable or unwilling to participate in questionnaires or those who are protected adults may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved rehabilitation strategies that enhance physical activity and reduce disability in chronic low back pain patients.

How similar studies have performed: While there is existing literature on physical activity in chronic pain management, this specific approach focusing on motivation and behavior change in CLBP rehabilitation is relatively novel.
