What this trial studies
This observational study investigates how younger Black and Hispanic women perceive their risk of developing breast cancer and the factors influencing these perceptions. Participants will complete surveys and may engage in interviews to provide deeper insights into their understanding of breast cancer risk and associated risk-reduction strategies. The study aims to identify differences in risk perceptions based on race and ethnicity, contributing to a better understanding of cancer risk communication in diverse populations.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are women aged 18 to 50 who self-identify as Black or Hispanic and have no prior history of breast cancer.
Not a fit: Patients who do not speak English or Spanish or have a history of breast cancer will not benefit from this study.

Inclusion Criteria: * Self-identify as female * Between the ages of 18 and 50 * No medical history of breast cancer Exclusion Criteria: * Unable to understand or comprehend English or Spanish
