What this trial studies
This study aims to pilot and refine a training program for licensed therapists to integrate digital cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (dCBTi) into their routine mental health services. The program will support therapists in utilizing digital tools to enhance treatment for patients experiencing insomnia. Participants will include licensed mental health clinicians who treat patients with depression and/or anxiety and can identify patients willing to participate in the training. The study focuses on improving the quality of care for insomnia through innovative digital solutions.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 and older who are receiving weekly or biweekly therapy and have a goal of improving their sleep due to insomnia.
Not a fit: Patients with conditions that may interfere with the effectiveness of the treatment, such as substance use disorders or certain chronic medications, may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this program could enhance the effectiveness of insomnia treatment by equipping therapists with digital tools to better support their patients.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in integrating digital therapies into traditional treatment models, suggesting potential success for this approach.
