What this trial studies
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an anonymous online screening tool for stress, depression, substance use, and suicidal thoughts among medical residents, fellows, and faculty at Oregon Health and Science University. Participants will complete the screening and have the opportunity to interact with a clinician online, which is expected to encourage them to seek in-person counseling. The study is based on motivational interviewing and aims to reduce suicide risk factors by increasing the willingness to seek help. The program is part of a broader initiative to promote mental health awareness and support within the medical community.
