What this trial studies
This study aims to adapt and evaluate a 4-session, 4-week family-informed self-management intervention designed specifically for Asian Pacific American men living with HIV. The intervention focuses on enhancing health outcomes by leveraging family support, which is crucial in collectivist cultures. Participants will engage in counseling sessions that promote optimal self-management practices, addressing both physical and mental health needs. The study is grounded in the understanding that family involvement can significantly improve health behaviors and quality of life for individuals with HIV.
