Research on predictive factors in gynecological cancers

Predictive Clinical and Biological Parameters in Gynecological Cancer - GC-BIO-IPC 2013-010

NA · Institut Paoli-Calmettes · NCT01977274

What this trial studies

This study investigates the clinical and biological parameters that may predict outcomes in patients with gynecological cancers, specifically focusing on ovarian, endometrial, and cervical cancers. It aims to analyze genomic, proteomic, and mutation data to identify potential predictive markers. The study involves patients who are suspected of having gynecological cancer and will collect data through clinical assessments and biological samples. The goal is to enhance understanding of these cancers and improve patient management.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults over 18 who have a suspicion of gynecological cancer and can provide informed consent.

Not a fit: Patients with non-gynecological cancers or those in emergency situations may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this research could lead to better prediction of treatment outcomes and personalized care for patients with gynecological cancers.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in identifying predictive factors in cancer, suggesting that this approach may yield valuable insights.
