Registry of patients undergoing coronary artery procedures

G-NUH (Gyeongsang National University Hospital) Registry

Observational Gyeongsang National University Hospital · NCT04650529

This study collects information from East Asian patients with serious heart artery problems who have had a procedure to open their arteries, to see how different factors affect their recovery and long-term health.

What this trial studies

The Gyeongsang National University Hospital Registry is a two-center observational registry that collects data on patients with significant coronary artery disease who have undergone percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Initiated in January 2010, this registry gathers long-term clinical outcomes and predictors of adverse outcomes from PCI-treated patients at Gyeongsang National University Hospitals in Jinju and Changwon. The study focuses on various hemostatic, physiologic, and laboratory measurements taken at admission and one month post-procedure to assess their impact on patient outcomes. This real-world data aims to provide insights specifically for East Asian patients.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this registry are adults aged 18 and older with significant coronary artery disease who have been treated with PCI.

Not a fit: Patients who are only receiving medical treatment without undergoing PCI will not benefit from this registry.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this registry could enhance understanding of long-term outcomes and improve treatment strategies for patients undergoing PCI.

How similar studies have performed: Other observational registries focusing on PCI have shown success in identifying predictors of outcomes, making this approach both relevant and supported by previous findings.
