What this trial studies
This observational study aims to create a national registry for patients suffering from moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) in Switzerland. It will document the medical care provided to these patients, assess the appropriateness of care, and evaluate the psychosocial impact of AD. The study will include children aged 12 and older, adolescents, and adults, who will be followed for at least 24 months to gather comprehensive data on their treatment and outcomes. The registry will also facilitate research into risk factors and comorbidities associated with AD.

Inclusion Criteria: * Age ≥ 12 years * AD according to the UK Working Party's Diagnostic Criteria (28) * Moderate to severe AD as defined by * objective SCORAD \> 20 or IGA ≥ 3 (moderate) or * currently on systemic antiinflammatory therapy for AD or * previous systemic antiinflammatory therapy for AD within past 24 months Exclusion Criteria: * refusal to sign the informed consent form
