* Patients diagnosed with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (PiZZ, PiZNull, PiSZ etc.)
* Alpha-1 carriers (PiMZ, PiMS etc.)

Exclusion Criteria:

* Failure to provide informed consent
* Normal healthy individuals (MM)
