What this trial studies
This observational registry study aims to identify biomarkers that can improve the classification and risk assessment of ischemic heart disease (IHD). By utilizing advanced mass spectrometry-based metabolomics and multimodal imaging technologies, the study seeks to develop a novel system for early risk stratification based on abnormal metabolites associated with IHD. Participants will include individuals with a history of ischemic symptoms and significant coronary artery stenosis, allowing for a comprehensive analysis of their metabolic profiles.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 years or older with a history of ischemic symptoms and significant coronary artery disease.
Not a fit: Patients who are unable to comply with follow-up procedures or cannot provide informed consent may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved early diagnosis and personalized treatment strategies for patients with ischemic heart disease.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in identifying biomarkers for cardiovascular diseases, suggesting that this approach may yield valuable insights.
