What this trial studies
This study aims to explore the skin cell atlas in different stages of psoriasis lesions by combining clinical manifestations with omics technologies. It seeks to establish a clinical classification standard for psoriasis and guide precise treatment strategies. Utilizing advanced methodologies such as single-cell RNA sequencing and CyTOF, the study will evaluate the mechanisms of psoriasis in response to various immunotherapy agents. The goal is to improve both short-term and long-term treatment outcomes for patients with psoriasis.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 18 to 75 with moderate to severe chronic psoriasis who are candidates for systemic therapy.
Not a fit: Patients with severe infections, significant allergies to biological agents, or a history of malignancy may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could lead to more effective and personalized treatment options for patients with psoriasis.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies utilizing similar advanced immunotherapy and omics approaches have shown promise, indicating potential for success in this novel application.
