What this trial studies
This clinical trial involves 100 frail older adults aged 75 and over from the greater Montreal area, who will be randomized into an experimental group participating in a personalized SAFE exercise program or a control group maintaining their usual activities. Participants will undergo four visits, including assessments of cognition and functional abilities, and will engage in the exercise program three times a week for 12 weeks. The study aims to evaluate changes in muscular strength, functional capacities, cognitive abilities, and quality of life before and after the intervention, with follow-up assessments conducted 12 weeks post-intervention.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are frail or pre-frail older adults aged 75 and over who meet specific inclusion criteria.
