What this trial studies

This study aims to address the high cancer mortality rates among adolescents and young adults living with HIV in Zambia by implementing a peer-to-peer education and support program. The ARROW program will focus on increasing the uptake of early cancer diagnosis services and improving compliance with cancer treatment for conditions such as cervical cancer, Kaposi sarcoma, and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. By embedding peer counselors and creating a learning network among healthcare providers, the study seeks to overcome barriers to cancer care in this vulnerable population. The effectiveness of these strategies will be evaluated using implementation science methods.
