What this trial studies
This single-center registry will collect retrospective chart data and prospective clinical follow-up on patients diagnosed with primary cutaneous T-cell lymphoma who attend the Dermatology Unit at Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo. Data collected will include demographics, disease subtype and stage, treatments received, response and adverse events, and timing of follow-up visits. Information will be entered from medical records and scheduled clinic visits into a standardized, de-identified database for descriptive analyses and to support future research. Participation does not change routine clinical care and is intended to improve local knowledge of disease course and management.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Patients with a diagnosis of primary cutaneous T-cell lymphoma who attend the outpatient clinics of the Dermatology Unit at Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo in Pavia are eligible.
Not a fit: Patients not treated or followed at the Pavia Dermatology Unit, as well as those with secondary skin involvement from systemic lymphoma or other diagnoses, are unlikely to benefit from this local registry.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, the registry could help clinicians identify which treatments work best locally and guide improvements in patient care and future research.
How similar studies have performed: National and international registries for cutaneous T-cell lymphomas have previously provided useful epidemiologic and outcomes data, so this registry approach is established rather than novel.
