What this trial studies

This observational study aims to establish a follow-up cohort of patients with HIV/AIDS undergoing antiretroviral therapy (ART). Participants will be monitored at various intervals—before treatment and at 1, 2, and 3 months after treatment, as well as every 3 months thereafter—to assess ART efficacy, adverse reactions, and complications. The study will also investigate mortality rates and causes of death among these patients, providing valuable data to enhance ART effectiveness and improve patient quality of life.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals aged 14 and older who have been diagnosed with HIV and are currently receiving antiretroviral therapy.

Not a fit: Patients who are younger than 14 years old will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved ART strategies and better health outcomes for patients living with HIV/AIDS.
