What this trial studies
This observational study aims to gather and analyze clinical and biological data from individuals with epilepsy receiving care at the Cardiff & Vale University Health Board. Participants will consent to the use of their routine clinical data and provide biological samples, such as blood, during their clinic visits. The study will utilize quantitative methods to explore various phenotypic, genetic, biochemical, neurophysiological, and radiological patterns associated with epilepsy. By building a comprehensive disease register, the study seeks to enhance understanding of epilepsy outcomes and potential biomarkers.
Who should consider this trial
