What this trial studies

This study evaluates a motivational-based training program designed for pre-service Physical Education teachers, focusing on enhancing their teaching styles and motivation. Participants will be divided into an experimental group, which will undergo a 14-hour training program based on Self-Determination Theory, and a control group that will follow the standard curriculum. The program includes both theoretical and practical components aimed at fostering motivating teaching styles while minimizing demotivating ones. The study employs a quasi-experimental design with quantitative assessments and qualitative focus groups to measure changes in perceived competence and motivation.
