Modeling kidney injury caused by drugs

Establishment, Evaluation and Treatment Strategy of Drug-induced Kidney Injury Model

Observational Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital · NCT06939387

What this trial studies

This observational study aims to establish a prediction model for renal dysfunction in patients who have experienced drug-induced acute kidney injury. It will analyze the prognosis associated with different drug treatments in these patients. By collecting and evaluating clinical data, the study seeks to identify patterns and outcomes related to kidney injury caused by medications.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are patients who have experienced acute kidney injury due to drug exposure.

Not a fit: Patients on dialysis, those without baseline creatinine data, or those with obstructive acute kidney injury may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve the understanding and management of drug-induced kidney injury, leading to better patient outcomes.

How similar studies have performed: While there have been studies on acute kidney injury, this specific observational approach to modeling drug-induced injury is relatively novel.
