Long-term registry for Korean patients with heart and brain vascular disease
PRIME (Precision Registry for Integrated Cardio-cerebrovascular Medicine & Evidence)
This project will collect past and ongoing medical records to see if combining them improves prediction of future health outcomes for Korean patients with heart and blood vessel diseases.

What this trial studies
Samsung Medical Center will build a standardized clinical registry that combines retrospective medical records with prospective follow-up for patients seen with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular conditions. The registry will capture treatments such as standard medical therapy, revascularization procedures, and lifestyle modification alongside clinical outcomes. Patients will be followed over time through existing records and ongoing visits to identify risk factors, disease trajectories, and outcome patterns specific to the Korean population. The resulting large, unified dataset is intended to support better prediction, prevention, and management strategies.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are patients who have visited Samsung Medical Center for cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease and can participate in ongoing medical follow-up.
Not a fit: Patients who do not receive care at Samsung Medical Center, cannot provide follow-up information, or whose conditions are unrelated to heart or brain blood vessel disease are unlikely to benefit.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, the registry could help clinicians predict complications earlier and tailor prevention and treatment for Korean patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease.
How similar studies have performed: Large cardiovascular and stroke registries elsewhere have improved risk prediction and care patterns, but a comprehensive long-term Korean-focused registry of this scale is relatively limited.
Eligibility criteria
Show full inclusion / exclusion criteria
Inclusion Criteria: A patient who visited Samsung Medical Center due to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease. Exclusion Criteria: A patient deemed unable to participate in the study based on the judgment of the medical staff.
