What this trial studies

This study aims to conduct a large-scale, prospective analysis of health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in patients diagnosed with glioma, a common type of brain tumor. It will establish a comprehensive database that includes patient characteristics, tumor information, treatment strategies, and follow-up data. The HRQOL will be assessed using the EQ-5D questionnaire, which evaluates various health dimensions such as mobility, self-care, and psychological well-being. The study will track HRQOL over time, focusing on both low-grade and high-grade glioma patients.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 and older who have been diagnosed and treated for either low-grade or high-grade glioma.

Not a fit: Patients who have not been diagnosed with glioma or those under 18 years old may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide valuable insights into the quality of life for glioma patients, potentially guiding future treatment approaches.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have successfully utilized similar methodologies to assess quality of life in cancer patients, indicating that this approach is both valid and valuable.
