What this trial studies
This observational study aims to explore the relationship between exposure to endocrine disruptor chemicals (EDCs) and the incidence of thyroid cancer. It will compare the levels of various EDCs, including PFAS and other categories like bisphenols and phthalates, in patients diagnosed with thyroid cancer against those without the diagnosis. Inclusion Criteria: * patients with a diagnosis of thyroid cancer in the last 5 years (arm A) * patients without a diagnosis of thyroid cancer will match patients included in arm A Exclusion Criteria: * subjects under 18 years old * patients unable to sign the informed consent or questionnaires
