What this trial studies

This study explores the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive decline and evaluates various cognitive assessment methods for individuals experiencing mild cognitive dysfunction. It employs functional and structural MRI and EEG to analyze brain activity and structure in participants from different cities. The study also tests multi-modal targeted interventions, including cognitive training, exercise, and games, aimed at improving and restoring cognitive function in affected individuals.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates include adults with subjective cognitive decline, mild cognitive impairment, or those with normal cognitive function who can walk at least a block.

Not a fit: Patients with a clinical diagnosis of dementia or those unable to follow the study protocol may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to effective interventions that enhance cognitive function in individuals with mild cognitive impairment and subjective cognitive decline.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in using cognitive training and rehabilitation approaches, suggesting potential success for this study's methodology.
