What this trial studies

This observational study aims to assess the quality of nutritional care in nursing homes worldwide by collecting data on malnutrition and its risk factors. Conducted on a single day, the study involves staff completing questionnaires about the nursing unit's structure and the characteristics of residents. An outcome evaluation will occur six months later to reassess residents' health status, including weight and hospitalization rates. The study will be repeated annually to track changes over time.
