What this trial studies

This project aims to enhance HPV vaccination rates by implementing a digital educational intervention led by community nurses in secondary schools. The study will involve a multidisciplinary healthcare team targeting adolescents aged 11-13 and their parents, utilizing questionnaires to assess vaccination status and knowledge. Following the analysis of responses, an educational intervention will be conducted through e-learning, focusing on increasing knowledge, self-efficacy, and ultimately vaccination uptake. The study will also evaluate parents' attitudes towards vaccination before and after the intervention.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adolescents aged 11-13 years and their parents who are willing to participate.

Not a fit: Patients who do not agree to participate or do not provide informed consent will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this intervention could significantly increase HPV vaccination rates among adolescents, improving public health outcomes.

How similar studies have performed: While this approach is innovative, there have been no prior interventional studies specifically targeting HPV vaccination rates through digital education involving community nurses.
