What this trial studies
This study evaluates the effects of integrative medicine interventions on the quality of life of healthcare providers who are experiencing emotional and physical challenges due to the ongoing conflict in Israel. Conducted at Carmel Medical Center, the study involves a prospective, non-randomized approach where healthcare providers are referred for tailored integrative medicine treatments based on their specific quality-of-life concerns. Each participant receives a 30-minute treatment session, followed by assessments before and after the intervention to gauge its effectiveness.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are healthcare providers reporting quality-of-life concerns related to the current conflict.
Not a fit: Healthcare providers without any quality-of-life concerns attributed to the war will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance the emotional and physical wellbeing of healthcare providers affected by wartime stress.
How similar studies have performed: While integrative medicine approaches have been explored in various contexts, this specific application in a wartime setting is relatively novel and untested.
