What this trial studies
This prospective cohort study evaluates the effects of gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) on the physical, psychological, social, and quality of life aspects of transgender individuals. It will recruit 150 participants who are starting GAHT and another 150 who have not yet begun treatment. Data will be collected through questionnaires and physiological measurements, with statistical analyses to explore correlations and differences between the two groups. The findings aim to inform transgender individuals considering hormone therapy and improve care guidelines for their overall well-being.
Who should consider this trial
