What this trial studies

This study evaluates the effectiveness of 68Ga/18F-Pentixafor/Pentixather positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) in diagnosing primary and metastatic lesions in patients with CXCR4-related diseases. Participants will undergo PET/CT imaging to assess the uptake of the tracer in lesions, with results analyzed for sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy. The goal is to determine how well this imaging technique can identify and monitor these diseases.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates include patients with suspected or confirmed untreated lymphoproliferative and other CXCR4-related diseases.

Not a fit: Patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a known allergy to Pentixafor may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this imaging technique could improve the diagnosis and monitoring of CXCR4-related diseases, leading to better patient outcomes.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promising results with similar imaging approaches, indicating potential for success in this area.
